The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.
-Carl Rogers
Welcome and thank you for stopping at my page as a step towards your self-growth! I acknowledge that seeking help may not be the easiest, but I am glad you are taking this step. As people, we experience so many stressors and struggles that we navigate throughout life. Sometimes these stressors may seem more manageable or we reach a moment where we acknowledge that we need to seek further assistance outside of us and our experiences to overcome life’s struggles.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I would be honored to be a part of that outside help for you. I have years of experience treating adults and couples that struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship conflicts, parenting skills, social skills, and grief and loss. I have specialized in working with mothers (new and seasoned) as they navigate their motherhood journey as well as managing symptoms of perinatal mental health. My approach to therapy is a collaborative, client-centered approach with the usage of various evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy. I obtained my Master's and a doctoral degree from the University of Southern California.
I strongly believe the client/therapist relationship is the most important part of therapy, therefore, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help determine if I am the right fit. You can expect our sessions to be an empathetic, non-judgmental space that allows you to be vulnerable as I provide support, guidance, and structure. My goal for our sessions is to work collaboratively to facilitate change in your life and to accomplish your personal growth goals.
My office
Due to the COVID, 19 pandemic, I have transitioned my practice to teletherapy. What this means for you, is that we are able to meet in a private virtual space that is most convenient for you with just a click of a button at any location in California.
